Can I add a Journal or Policy to the platform?
General users of open policy finder...
We accept suggestions for new journal listings if the publisher of the journal is already listed in our dataset. Please check the database first to ensure that the publisher is listed, and that the journal meets our inclusion criteria. You can then email us at help@jisc.ac.uk giving the details of the publication/journal, including its title, URL, ISSNs, and the publisher's name.
Publishers already listed in open policy finder...
If you wish to add new journals to your existing inventory, please first check our inclusion criteria for journals. If all criteria are met, please then complete the new record form. The form will require your publisher details and will provide options to list a single journal or to upload a spreadsheet of multiple journals.
Publishers not already listed in open policy finder...
New publishers will be added to open policy finder via collaborations with national groups/organisations/consortia.
Representatives of national groups, organisations or consortia should email us at help@jisc.ac.uk (mentioning 'open policy finder' in the subject line) to register their interest in the first instance.
Examples of groups we have collaborated with recently include:
- Mir@bel network
- TSV, Federation of Finnish Learned Societies
- GOAL project, Swiss Universities
- Canadian Association of Research Libraries
We also add new publishers based on targeted checks of lists, such as UKRI, REF and DIAMAS publication lists.
We no longer accept journal submissions from new publishers via our helpdesk/forms.
