Why is my publisher/journal no longer on open policy finder?
Systematic review can have an impact on the records we hold in our dataset - which means that we can remove publisher and journal records without any prior warning to our stakeholders.
We may remove records from our dataset for any one of the following reasons:
- The record no longer meets the inclusion criteria for our services
- A publisher has ceased publishing
- A journal has been discontinued, superseded by a new title, or incorporated into another title
- If a publisher is publicly shown to be operating in a manner that is not totally transparent or fair
- We cannot find the record at the URL that was originally given and a thorough search for the information on the web does not enable us to find its new location
- The records are not reliably available – they may be down every time we try to find them
- If a journal no longer has any option for any version of an article to be made available to the public
- Journals fail to publish according to their publication schedule with no reasonable explanation given
