If I find an agreement, does that mean I can publish?

If you find that there is an agreement listed for your institution and your chosen journal, there are some further considerations and checks that should be made prior to deciding to publish.

Important points to consider:

• The terms of a transitional agreement apply to the corresponding author of the article only – i.e. the agreement must be held by the institution at which the corresponding author is employed.
• Some transitional agreements have restrictions, such as a cap on the number of articles published under the agreement. We are not able to represent that information in open policy finder, so it is important to check with the institution prior to publishing.
